Down The Middle ("DTM") is a golf handicap app. We collect only what we need to run the service and nothing more. We don't sell your data. We're a one-person operation built on the belief that straightforward is better.

• Your name and email address when you create an account
• Your golf round data (course, score, rating, slope, date) that you enter manually
• Payment information processed through Stripe — we never see or store your full card number
• Basic usage data through our hosting infrastructure

• To calculate and display your DTM handicap
• To share your round activity with playing partners you've connected with
• To send transactional emails (confirmation, password reset, partner requests)
• To process your annual membership payment

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate DTM:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Stripe — payment processing
• Resend — transactional email delivery
• Vercel — app hosting

None of these parties receive your data for their own marketing or advertising purposes.

When you connect with a playing partner, they can see your name, member number, current handicap, and recent round activity. You control who you connect with.

To delete your account and all associated data, contact us at support@dtmhandicap.com. We'll process your request as soon as possible.

Your data is stored securely through Supabase with industry-standard encryption. Passwords are never stored in plain text.

DTM is intended for general audiences. Users under the age of 13 must have parental consent to use the app.

If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email. The "last updated" date at the top will always reflect the current version.
